Another
‘Superman’ contender in Christian Bale apparently – though
his track record of flops of late isn’t faring well
with the gang at Warner. Ironically, Bale’s now looking a
mere shadow of himself. No longer looking like healthy superhero
material, Bale, who admits to have lost 22 kg (49 lbs) since
last summer, insists that his weight loss was for his role
as an insomniac in Brad Anderson's indie film “The Machinist”
which is shooting in Spain. (By way of comparison, Al Pacino
didn't lose any weight to play the title role in Insomnia).
